It manages and facilitates research and development activities, intellectual property creation and management, technological development, promotion and exploitation of R & D findings and trainings through close collaboration with relevant government agencies, research institutes, other universities and international agencies.
In supporting our R&D needs, funds are sourced from available research grant schemes, both locally and internationally. This is to promote projects of national interest for development. As part of our aims to achieve scientific and technological excellence, the University is dedicated to nurturing R&D culture among staff and community by cultivating a spirit of innovation and creativity.
